You can view or cancel a pending market, fractional, or stop-limit order in your self-directed investing account by following the instructions below.
- Sign into the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device
- Tap the Activity tab at the bottom of the screen
- Select the Pending tab from the top of your screen
- Select an order to view its details
- If available, you'll see the option to cancel the order at the bottom of the order page
- Log in to your Wealthsimple account
- Select Activity from the top menu
- From the Quick filters menu, select Pending
- Select an order to view its details
- If available, you'll see the option to cancel the order at the bottom of the order page
- Tap Cancel this order and then Yes to confirm cancel

The details
- For fractional orders, you have up until one hour before market close to cancel your order.
- U.S. stock exchanges have the concept of a “no-cancel window”. If you request a cancellation during this window, the cancellation may not be accepted and your order may fill instantly upon market open. Please see the individual exchange websites for more details.
- Orders may appear as Partially filled if only a portion of the order has been bought or sold on the market. You can only cancel the unfilled portion of a partially filled order.
