You can create groups of up to 25 Cash account users that allow you to seamlessly send and request money from members of the group. You can keep track of who owes you money from that dinner last week and chat with friends all in one place. 

Create a group with your Cash account

1. Log in to the Wealthsimple mobile app
2. From the Home tab, tap a Cash account
3. Tap More
4. Choose Split a bill
5. Search for people to add to your group and tap Create group

View your group and make changes

1. Log into the Wealthsimple mobile app
2. From the Home tab, tap your Cash account
3. Tap More
4. Choose Split a bill
5. Here you will see any groups you have created

Requesting funds in the group

1. Log into the Wealthsimple mobile app
2. From the Home tab, tap a Cash account
3. Tap More
4. Choose Split a bill
5. Tap the group you wish to request funds from
6. Select Request
7. Check off the contacts you want to request money
8. Tap Next
9. Enter the total amount to split among every contact you selected
10. Tap Next to confirm the amount
11. Adjust the split of the bill as needed
12. Tap Next
13. Tap Request from group
14. To check on who has paid the request in the group, tap the 3 dots at the top right of the request bubble in the chat

Tip: You can request money from someone who isn't using Cash yet. Once they download the app and set up their profile, they'll get your request to send you money.

Blocking or reporting someone on Cash 

1. Log into the Wealthsimple mobile app
2. Tap the Home tab, tap a Cash account
3. Tap either Send or Request
4. Select Wealthsimple Cash
5. Choose the contact(s) that you wish to report or block
6. Tap the Settings (gear) icon at the top of the screen
7. Select Report or Block user
