You can remove an Interac e-Transfer® contact from the Wealthsimple mobile app.
Note: Removing a contact will also delete all scheduled and recurring e-Transfers you had set up for them.
To remove an e-Transfer contact, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Wealthsimple mobile app
- From the Home tab, select your Cash account
- Tap Send or request
- Tap Send money
- Select INTERAC e-Transfer
- Select the contact you'd like to delete
Note: If they don't have auto-deposit enabled, you must create a security question and answer. Tap Next to continue. - Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner
- Tap Remove contact
- Tap Remove to confirm and remove the contact
