Overview
Once you've been approved for the Wealthsimple Visa Infinite* or Visa Infinite Privilege* credit card, you'll be prompted to set a 4-digit PIN. You can view or change your PIN anytime in the Wealthsimple app.
View your PIN
If you can't remember your PIN, you can view your PIN for 30 seconds after you're authenticated.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your Wealthsimple mobile app
- Tap your credit card
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner
- Select Manage card
- Select View PIN
- Choose how to receive your one-time password
- Scroll down to enter the password
- Tap Reveal PIN
Change your PIN
Follow these steps to change your PIN:
- Log in to your Wealthsimple mobile app
- Tap your credit card
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner
- Select Manage card
- Select Change PIN
- Follow the prompts to change your PIN
After changing your PIN, you'll need to activate it. You can choose one of the two methods below to activate your new PIN.
Use your old PIN
You can activate your new PIN by using your old PIN one last time at a terminal.
- Insert your card to make a purchase or withdraw money from an ATM
- Enter your old PIN
- Your old PIN will stop working and your new PIN will be activated
Use your new PIN
If you prefer to use your new PIN immediately, follow these steps:
- Insert your card to make a purchase or withdraw money from an ATM.
- Enter your new PIN. If the card reader says that your PIN failed, enter it 3 more times. This is normal.
- Your new PIN will be activated.
Troubleshoot changing your PIN
If you can't change your PIN, your card might be blocked. This happens when you enter the incorrect PIN multiple times at a payment terminal.
