The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has provided updates on several NETFILE errors:
Resolved issues:
- Error 90228: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 14, 2025.
- Error 99915: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 14, 2025.
- Error 95033: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 16, 2025.
- Error 95034: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 16, 2025.
- Error 95365: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 23, 2025.
- Error 2515: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 16, 2025.
- Error 2508: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 23, 2025.
Issues pending form updates:
- Error 90308 and 95031: The CRA will be re-releasing certain forms to fix these errors. There is no specific timeline provided for this yet.
Your Options
- Try Submitting Again: If you previously encountered one of the resolved errors, you can now attempt to submit your return again.
- Wait for a Fix: If you're experiencing errors 90308, or 95031, you may choose to wait until the expected resolution dates mentioned above. We'll update this article when we receive new information.
- Mail Your Return: If you prefer not to wait, you can print and mail your return to the CRA.
Mailing Your Return
- The CRA considers a mailed return to be on time if the postmark is no later than April 30th.
