All NETFILE errors have now been resolved. The CRA has re-certified Wealthsimple Tax for the 2024 tax year after implementing the necessary changes to the CPP/QPP Schedule 8 forms.
Note: The CRA has confirmed that they will proactively offer interest and penalty relief to individuals who are unable to file their tax return on time due to errors 90308 and 95031. Meaning if you attempted to NETFILE your return on or before April 30th and received either NETFILE error, you will be eligible for this relief. Further details will be provided as they become available.

- Error 90228: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 14, 2025.
- Error 99915: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 14, 2025.
- Error 95033: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 16, 2025.
- Error 95034: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 16, 2025.
- Error 95365: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 23, 2025.
- Error 2515: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 16, 2025.
- Error 2508: This has been resolved by the CRA as of April 23, 2025.
- Error 90308: Resolved by the CRA with Schedule 8 form updates as of June 3, 2025.
- Error 95031: Resolved by the CRA with Schedule 8 form updates as of June 3, 2025.
Your Options
- Try Submitting Again: If you previously encountered any of these errors, you can now attempt to submit your return again. All issues have been resolved, and Wealthsimple Tax has been re-certified by the CRA.
If You Already Mailed Your Return
If you chose to mail your return due to one of these errors, please note that the CRA will process your paper return as normal. There's no need to submit electronically.
