Watchlist is a tool that allows you to track a particular asset without purchasing it. When you add a stock to your watchlist, you are able to see that stock on your homepage, and quickly access the stock's information page.
On a stock's information page, you will find things such as:
- The security's performance over different periods of time
- The security's statistics
- News about the security
- Categories that the security falls into
Add a stock, ETF or cryptocurrency to your Watchlist
- Log in to your Wealthsimple account.
- In the Search name or symbol field at the top of the page, type in the name or the symbol of the security you'd like to follow.
- Select the security you'd like to add to your Watchlist.
- Click the star icon (add to watchlist) button on the right side of your screen.
- Sign in to the Wealthsimple mobile app.
- Tap the Search tab
at the bottom of the screen.
- Type in the name or the symbol of the security you'd like to follow.
- Tap the star icon located on the left side.
Remove a security from your Watchlist
- Log in to your Wealthsimple account.
- Scroll down and select the Watchlist tab.
- Select the asset to go to the details page.
- Click the star icon on the right side of your screen to remove the asset from your watchlist.
- Sign in to the Wealthsimple mobile app.
- From the Home tab
, choose an account.
- Scroll down to Watchlist and tap an asset to go to the details page.
- Tap the star icon in the top left corner to remove it from your Watchlist.
